Rules of Play

The Robson Ranch Softball Association operates under two official rule books.

First is the Official Senior Softball USA Rulebook and our primary Rulebook.  It contains the official rules governing senior softball competition across the country and covers virtually every aspect of the game.

Second is the RRSA Rules of Play.  The RRSA Rules of Play is a supplement to the Official SSUSA Rulebook.  It is not a replacement for the SSUSA rulebook.

Instead, it contains local rules that have been approved by the RRSA Board to better fit our league and our players.  Whenever an RRSA rule differs from an SSUSA rule, the RRSA rule takes precedence for games played at Robson Ranch.
